Birmingham care home welcome back singerYesterday, singing entertainer Barry came to visit HC-One’s the Orchards nursing care home, in Shard End, and sang some songs for Residents.

Everyone really enjoyed themselves and sang along with Barry to all the old classics, whilst some enjoyed a nice cup of tea and some toasted tea cakes.

Karen Norris, Audrey Buckle, Hazel Cassin, Norman Baxter, Gail Biggerstaff, Brenda Cooper, Mary Ford and Doreen Jackson, who all live at the home, came along and had a great time, all agreeing it was a “lovely afternoon”.

Simon Barnett, Care Home Manager, said, “It’s brilliant that we can start to welcome back entertainment and everyone had a fantastic, musical afternoon!”
