HC-One’s Orchard Mews care home in Benwell, Newcastle-upon-Tyne was transported back to the wild west for Resident, Clifford’s birthday celebrations.
Clifford enjoyed a fun-filled day for his birthday with a country and western theme, in honour of his favourite film genre. Team members at Orchard Mews dressed as cowboys and Residents gathered in the lounge to help Clifford celebrate his special day.
The lounge was transformed into an old-style saloon where Clifford opened his gifts and everyone enjoyed a delicious themed buffet with chilli beans, jacket potatoes, hot dogs and much more.
A great day was had by all, with Clifford commenting that he appreciated all of the effort that had gone in to making his birthday extra special.
Orchard Mews Home Manager, Nicola Coulson said: “I am so pleased that Clifford enjoyed his birthday party, thank you to the team for all of your hard work to bring this all together.”
