Blakelands Lodge Care Home in Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire, is supporting local families this half term by offering free packed lunches for children from 16th–22nd February.
School holidays can sometimes place extra pressure on families, and Blakelands Lodge is providing a helping hand. Children in the local community are welcome to collect a free packed lunch between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm, no questions asked. The initiative is completely confidential and offered with care, ensuring families can access support easily and with dignity.
Hayley Lant, Front of House Manager at Blakelands Lodge, said:
"We know school holidays can sometimes put a little extra pressure on families. If you need a bit of additional support this half term, or know someone who might, we’re here to help. Please feel welcome to pop in and collect a packed lunch; there’s no need to explain. It’s our way of showing care for our local community."
