Residents and Colleagues at HC One’s Elmwood House enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea, with a Pride theme twist today.
It was a fun-filled day at the Boston care home, complete with plenty of colour, cakes and a little tipple or a cuppa too!
Residents got involved with decorating ginger nut cookies in all the colours of the rainbow, enjoyed a tipple from the booze trolley and waved their rainbow flags around too.
In the afternoon the Colleagues at the home took part in a fancy dress competition, followed by everybody eating a delicious cream tea.
There was plenty of tasty fresh cakes to choose from, washed down by the perfect accompaniment – a cup of tea!
One Resident, Gertie, commented “I love the cake trolley and the balloons!”
