A group of ‘green-fingered’ care home Residents at HC-One’s The Gardens care home in Boston recently enjoyed a spot of indoor gardening.
All socially distanced, Residents sat in one of the homes lounges and planted indoor flower buds and even did a bit a tidying up the existing plants.
Residents Roy Elston, Gail Vear and Dorothy Shinn were the three Residents who took part and they now cannot wait to see their flowers grow in the spring and summer months.
Afterwards, Residents helped Colleagues clean up and they all enjoyed a cup of tea and some cake, along with a good old chat.
Residents really enjoyed the day, especially getting the compost out in the post and watering the plants.
