Residents at HC-One’s The Gardens care home in Boston recently enjoyed a contemporary spring time arts and crafts session, creating all kinds of spring themed artwork.
On the morning of 25th February Residents gathered in the homes activities areas and got to work on some 3D pieces of artwork for their windows. Residents enjoyed the nice weather and looking out the window at the baby ducklings in the homes duck pond.
Because of this, a lot of the artwork was based around nature and wildlife and they looked amazing.
Resident Dorothy Shinn said: “The daffodils are my favourite flowers because it means spring is on the way.”
Residents really enjoyed the day of creativity and they especially enjoyed the social aspect of it, especially after the tough year everyone has had.
Home Manager of The Gardens care home, Vicky Barty said: “It is so nice to see our Residents creating daffodil artwork as I agree with Dorothy about them being my favourite flower, too.”
