Residents at HC One’s Knowles Court have been getting up to plenty of different activities throughout the month.
How is it September already? Asks the Bradford care home, and it has been another month of keeping busy with different things to do.
Residents have been baking, completing jigsaws and puzzles, painting, colouring in, playing games – you name it, they’ve been doing it!
Residents have also been communicating with loved ones via video calling, a very important activity especially with local lockdown restrictions getting put into place.
It’s great for the home to plan different activities to keep Residents entertained, one of the Residents commented “it’s lovely to do something different”, as she was describing the canvas bag painting she did.
Another Resident said “I really life a bit of sweet stuff” when talking about the day they made mint creams.
Jo, the homes deputy home manager said “I thank Julie (wellbeing coordinator) greatly for the time and effort she puts into the new activities for the Residents.”
