Bringing some more colour to Chandlers FordFollowing a suggestion from a Relative, Colleagues at Chandlers Ford residential and nursing care home, in Eastleigh, have invested in some seasonal hanging baskets and colourful heathers to brighten up the outdoors.

After consulting with Residents on their preferences, bright pinks and purples were chosen to give the home some vibrancy for autumn.

One of the Relatives noticed the new flowers straight away, “When I visited my mum today, it was lovely to see beautiful hanging baskets around the front of the home and new plants in the porch!”

Diane Millership, who lives at Chandlers Ford, described them as, “Lovely colours!”

Lucy Hilferty, Care Home Manager, remarked, “I love gardening and am really keen improve the gardens here and involve the Residents and their loved ones in this process.”
