Brixworth Residents keeping very busy this springResidents at Pytchley Court care home, in Northamptonshire, have certainly had plenty of activities to be involved with recently.

Residents are regularly enjoying one to one time and calls to family and friends during the pandemic. Zoom and Facetime calls have been enjoyed by all and the home is just waiting on the pod to start welcoming visitors.

Sue Watson, Home Manager, remarked, “What a lovely place to meet and greet, and to see their loved ones again.”

Also, this month, Resident Ruth enjoyed a really lovely birthday celebration with fellow Residents and her family, who came in for a window visit.

The home’s Chef made Ruth a scrumptious birthday cake, pictured left, which everyone enjoyed and Ruth, pictured right, enjoyed her cake and seeing her family

Another exciting project is the redecoration of Residents’ rooms. Residents have been choosing their own wallpaper to make their bedroom more personal, and it has gone down hugely successful!

Gwen Fenlon, who lives at Pytchley Court, chose a really colourful design for the paper; full of birds.

She commented, “I love my room!”
