Brompton House care home to benefit from transformative refurbishment and upgrade programmeBrompton House care home in Broadway, Worcestershire, is due to benefit from an exciting refurbishment and upgrade programme of around £300,000, resulting from a major investment launched by owners HC-One.

Residents of the 40-bed, friendly and welcoming care home will be able to enjoy modernised and enhanced living environments – including a full decoration of the home’s reception area, hair salon, corridors and lounge. The home will also benefit from new flooring, fixtures and fittings to other areas such as bathrooms, and work on the home’s beautiful conservatory is also underway.

The residential and nursing care home refurbishment is part of HC-One’s £54.5 million refurbishment and upgrade programme. This programme will benefit 221 HC-One homes, including Brompton House, and forms part of HC-One’s mission to be the UK’s first choice care provider in the communities it serves.

As the largest care home refurbishment programme in the UK, HC-One is transforming its homes for the benefit of the Residents and Colleagues who live and work in them, and for the local communities they serve. The upgrades will mean that every HC-One home will be equipped to meet the needs of an ageing population with increasingly complex care needs – including dementia care needs.

The works at Brompton House are set to be completed in July 2022 – no Residents will be impacted by the ongoing works.

Sara MacCormack, HC-One’s Area Director said:

“We are committed to fostering an environment that really feels like home, and décor and facilities are an important part of this. We’re really excited about the plans for Brompton House Care Home and for the work to get safely underway. We look forward to seeing the end result, and when it is safe to do so, welcoming more visitors to see our new look.”
