Burns Night karaoke at Glasgow care homeResidents enjoyed a day of karaoke with a wee drop of whisky for Burns Night this year at HC-One’s Eastbank care home in Shettleston.

Colleagues decorated the home with Scottish bunting before taking part in a sing-a-long in the lounge with Residents to sing all their favourite Scottish tunes.

Residents then settled down for their traditional Burns supper – haggis, neeps and tatties – followed by a dram of whisky for those who fancied it. But there were plenty of festive soft drinks on offer for those who didn’t.

Aaron, a Resident at the home, commented: “I’ve had a great afternoon singing and listening to the music. I’ve really enjoyed myself.”

Everyone at Eastbank enjoyed their traditional Burns Night as Residents and Colleagues alike broke into song to chant the Flower of Scotland.
