Caerphilly care home Resident enjoys virtual family catch up

Maureen Davies, a Resident at HC-One’s Church View care home in Caerphilly enjoyed a virtual catch up with her three sons on Friday 4th December.

It was a lovely day for Maureen as she got to catch up with her three sons, Jeremy, Simon and Stephen via Zoom and find out how they are all doing. She enjoyed chatting with her boys, sharing stories and hearing about her five grandchildren are doing.

Maureen was full of smiles and commented on how amazing it was to see all three of her boys on the screen. Residents in Church View are enjoying regular Zoom calls with their loved ones to keep in touch during these difficult times.

Church View Home Manager, Ellen Smith, said: “It’s heart-warming to see our Residents staying connected with their friends and family via technology, it really makes a difference to their lives especially at Christmas time.”
