Residents at
Callands nursing, residential memory care and nursing memory care home, in Warrington, have enjoyed a couple of days getting their pictures taken to make their own Christmas cards to send to their loved ones over the festive period.
Those involved all enjoyed getting involved; even Residents in their bedrooms who cannot come out of their beds were involved too.
Once the photos are printed, they are going to be stuck onto cards and they will have a Christmas verse placed in. All Residents that can write in their cards will do so for a personal touch.
One of the Residents said, “I loved it, absolutely loved it!”
Everyone loved getting dressed up and posing for their photo and thought it was a lovely idea. They cannot wait for their families to receive the cards.
Donna Brown, Care Home Manager, remarked, “I loved seeing all the Residents smiling for their photos.”
