Residents at HC-One’s Capwell Grange Care Home in Luton, Bedfordshire enjoyed celebrating Italian cuisine and culture with a special day culminating in a feast of homemade Italian food.
Everyone enjoyed sampling the tasty meals of spaghetti and pizza with Italian wine and traditional music and table decorations to create a more authentic atmosphere. The dessert of tiramisu proved to be a particular hit with the diners.
One Resident said: “It really felt like we were in Italy, and it was the most delicious tiramisu ever. Bella bella!”
Nicola Berry, Care Home Manager, said: “It’s really good to see our Residents enjoying the Italian themed dinner together.”
