Carol singing gets Residents into the festive spirit

Chowdene Community Church paid a visit to HC-One’s Springfield House Care Home in Low Fell, Gateshead, for a festive afternoon of carol singing. 

Residents, their friends, family members and the team at Springfield House attended the service, where everyone enjoyed singing along to numerous traditional carols and listening to readings from the Bible.

One of the older gentlemen in the choir then stood up for a solo performance, which everyone found really moving. 

Afterwards, the choir spent time chatting to each of the Residents and reminiscing about past Christmas’, as well as what they’re excited about for this Christmas to come.
