Carr Gate care home are ready to celebrate Care Home Open WeekResidents and staff at Carr Gate, residential, nursing and residential dementia care home, in Wakefield, are already well prepared for Care Home Open Week.

As Care Home Open Week is fast approaching, Carr Gate are making sure they are ready to have a fantastic time.

The start of the celebrations will include singing along to ‘Bring Me Sunshine’ as a care home so it can be used in HC-One’s company wide video. 

As well as this, Residents will be busy crafting before their open day on Friday 1st July so all their creations can be displayed for visitors to see.

On the open day, Residents and visitors can enjoy lots of games including bingo and quizzes along with pamper sessions including hair styling, manicures and arm and leg massages. Along with a fitness session being held for the Residents.

Lunch and snacks will be served for everyone to enjoy. Trolleys will be available outside and in the suites with lots of delicious treats prepared by the kitchen staff.

And to make the open day even better Ukulele Henry will be playing and singing songs from 2pm.
