Celebrating 186 years of long service for Leigh care home ColleaguesSome of the longest serving Colleagues at HC-One are from Westleigh Lodge care home, in Leigh, Lancashire, and all have been celebrating 186 years of service. 

Nine Colleagues at the 48-bed nursing dementia care home celebrated their many years of service together, during a visit from Catherine Haycock, Area Director, and Stephen Butterworth, Executive Director.

Front left to right are Donna O'Neill (23 years), Joanne Starkie (16 years), Fiona Tte (21 years), Wendy Farrimond (25 years) and Sue Bond (24 years).

Suzanne Lindsay, shown in the photo frame on the picture, was the original nurse when the care home first opened in 1996 and worked there until she retired due to ill health in 2018 before sadly passing away, but the team still keep her memory alive.
