Celebrating Country Music Day at Staffordshire care homeToday at Maple Court in Stafford, which provides nursing and nursing memory care, County Music Day celebrations were in full swing.

Colleagues dressed up as cowboys and country music was playing across the home. Residents were offered various choices of food and drinks. With fruity cider, wine and lemonade being available to drink, and a wide range of cheeses and biscuits to accommodate everybody, as well as a selection of nibbles.

Some classic country songs were very popular among the Residents, with the Wellbeing Coordinators dressing up really made the day feel special. Speaking at the end of the day, one of the Residents commented “I’ve really enjoyed today, especially the cheese and biscuits! I asked for seconds”.

Kerry, the Home Manager also praised the Wellbeing Coordinators “One of the Residents said it’s been a lovely day, the staff have done such a great job here with dressing up”.
