The Residents at
April Park residential care home, in Eckington, Derbyshire, have enjoyed celebrating England winning the Euros.
Residents watched in anticipation as the Lionesses scored the winning go to celebrate it really coming home. All enjoyed a glass of shandy and some nibbles to mark this momentous occasion.
The event was extra special for some of the Residents, who are very proud as they come from the same village Killamarsh as one of the England players; Millie Bright (so she got some extra cheers from the spectators).
Residents could be heard saying, “Fly your flag” and “Well done ladies!”
