Admirals Reach care home in Essex, which provides residential, nursing and nursing dementia care have been enjoying their first coffee morning of 2023 this week.
The Nelson Community at Admirals Reach had their coffee morning on Wednesday, which included a lovely range of different cakes and snacks. Residents were able to get together and chat, with some wonderful reminiscing going on between them about their childhood.
There were some classic songs from throughout the different decades playing which were well received by everybody, it even brought about some signing along.
Residents mentioned how much they enjoyed the bone china cups and saucers, but most of all, the cakes. Catching up together at these coffee mornings was a very welcome morning at Admirals Reach and Residents are keen to keep the tradition going throughout 2023.
Lal, Home Manager at Admirals Reach went on to say, “We are all so glad to see the return of the Wednesday coffee morning at the care home, the Residents and Relatives really enjoy sitting about and reminiscing together”.
