Cheshire Colleagues donate to local food bankWhen the local food bank put out a local plea for help as their stocks were running low, Colleagues at Greengables residential and nursing care home, in Congleton, stepped in to help.

Staff at Greengables jumped into action and collected a huge box of goodies that were desperately needed at The Store House, which is the local food bank.

When the donation was made, staff at The Store House were so grateful for the donation and praised Colleagues at the home for their swift action.

The Residents at Greengables thought it was a marvellous idea that all the staff were helping the local community.

One Resident said she was so proud of what the staff had done.

Michelle Wooding, Care Home Manager, said, “All the staff at Greengables have said this is something they would like to continue with throughout the year.”
