Residents at HC-One’s Acacia care home enjoyed a sweet day as they celebrated world chocolate day the right way.
Everyone enjoyed sampling different types of chocolate – from chocolate dipped strawberries, to chocolate cake, and some even tried some chocolate pancakes!
Pancakes were decorated with peaches, chocolate sauce, chocolate such as Aero and chocolate buttons, as Residents picked their own toppings and laid them out how they thought best.
Residents were amazed at the various ways you can eat chocolate as some hadn’t even thought to try some of the treats before!
One Resident remarked: “There’s just so many types of chocolate, it’s amazing. I love how it tastes different in each one.”
