Residents Woodlands View care home in Stevenage, which provides residential, nursing and nursing dementia care, have been enjoying a Christmas Cake decorating competition this week.
Woodlands View have an annual Christmas Cake decorating competition every festive season. Its an event which Residents and Colleague both take part in and everybody looks forward it. It brings together all three communities at Woodlands View in a festive and friendly competitive way.
The Deputy Home Manager was the judge this year and for a second year running, Residents on Wellfield House won the event. The cakes showed some outstanding talent by all who took part and looks terrific!
Resident’s commented how much they enjoyed the whole event, with Lesley, a Resident at Woodlands View saying, “It was fun to do, but even more so, it will nice to taste”.
Deby, the Home Manager at Woodlands View said, “It was great to see the Residents decorating the cake, it was so imaginative”.
