Christmas crafts at Huddersfield care home

The festive spirit filled HC-One’s The Denby care home in Denby Dale, Huddersfield as Residents and team members prepared for Christmas with some creative craft sessions.

Residents at The Denby have kept themselves busy by exploring their creative side making special homemade cards for their friends and family. Everyone shared their favourite Christmas memories and traditions as they worked on their cards which brought lots of smiles and laughter.

The cards turned out beautifully and Residents were pleased that they were able to give their loved ones something that they had made themselves. One Resident commented: “This was such a good idea, after the year we have all had I think it’s lovely to focus on thoughtful gestures.”

The Denby Home Manager, Amelia Hallas said: “It was great to see our Residents getting into the festive spirit and making such wonderful Christmas cards for their friends and family.”
