It’s the start of ‘Elf on the Shelf’ at
Yew Trees residential memory care home, in Dukinfield as ‘Elfy’ came to visit.
Elfy has been hiding around the home; sat reading stories, watching everyone go by from the Christmas tree and helping Colleagues with the laundry. She has also been listening to see who has been naughty and nice, much to the Residents’ and Colleagues’ amusement.
One of the Residents said, “It’s great to have a bit of Christmas fun, long may it stay!”
Lynda Bulley, Wellbeing Coordinator, commented, “It was lovely seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces.”
We are looking forward to seeing what Elfy might do next!
