Winters Park, residential and residential dementia care home in Penrith, Cumbria, kicked off their Christmas celebrations on the 2nd of December.
A Christmas light switch on event was held for all the Residents and their families.
Everyone had a lovely evening in which David, the Maintenance Operative decorated the outside of the home with Christmas lights. He also made a fabulous Santa’s Grotto!
All Residents and their families counted down for the turn on of the Christmas lights.
The event was celebrated with mince pies, hot chocolate, mulled wine, cider and baileys.
The Residents enjoyed a surprise visit from Santa and then had a dance and singalong to some Christmas music.
Kate Lewis, Care Home Manager, commented, “I’m so proud of all the Colleagues and especially Daisy for organising this lovely event for all to enjoy.”
