Christmas photoshoot at Pennwood Lodge care homeResidents of Pennwood Lodge, residential, nursing and dementia care home in Kingswood, Wotton-under-Edge, had a visit from H&H Photography.

H&H Photography kindly provided the opportunity for the Residents to have a free photo session for Christmas, so they can make special Christmas cards.

The booth was ran by Manda Hodson, House Keeper and her daughter Sara Harvey who came along to help.

The booth was set up in the conservatory and there were lots of different Christmas props. Residents chose the funny props they wanted to wear and had their photos taken. Residents found it fairly amusing to see themselves on screen.

The photos will be made into Christmas cards for the Residents families.

Manda, commented, “It was nice to see the Residents smiling and enjoying the photobooth. It was great seeing them try on all the different hats and use the props.”

Resident, Edward Fowler, added, “I looked so funny with all the hats and props, I just kept laughing at myself!”

Sarah Daly, Care Home Manager, remarked, “This was such a wonderful gift from Manda, who has gone above and beyond for our Residents, it was lovely to see and hear the laughter.”
