Today at
Priory Mews in Kent, which provides residential, nursing, residential dementia and nursing dementia care, some Residents attended their local cinema to catch the new James Bond film.
Three lucky residents have enjoyed getting out to their local cinema and watching the new 007 James Bond film, ‘No Time to Die”. Colleagues Stef, Megan and Albie all accompanied them out to the cinema, where the Residents snagged themselves front row seats which they were very proud of. They also got some treats at the cinema with a drink to enjoy during the film. The general opinion on the film was that it was good, but without saying what happened, Stef the Wellbeing Coordinator did cry!
After the film everybody was treated to McDonalds, which went down very well with the Residents, and after this they all went by the river to feed the ducks. All three Residents seem to have enjoyed themselves, one Colleague mentioned that “Despite being taken to see Daniel Craig, they did comment that feeding the ducks was also very good”. One Resident said afterwards, “It was great to get out, I very much enjoyed the film and feeding the ducks”.
Glenys, the Home Manager commented “Its lovely to see the Residents going out and about again – thank you Stef and the team for making this possible for them”.
