Coppice Court Care Home Residents Enjoy a Trip to the CinemaResidents of Coppice Court Care Home in Eastbourne, East Sussex, had a memorable day out recently with a trip to their local Cineworld cinema. Veronica (Ronnie) Dowdell and Barry Wood, who share a love of Elvis Presley, were delighted to attend a special screening of Epic: Elvis Presley in Concert.

The pair were captivated from the very start, singing along and completely engrossed in the performance on the big screen. The joy on their faces was clear to see, and the experience has left a lasting impression.

Since returning to Coppice Court, Ronnie and Barry haven’t stopped talking about the outing, commenting on how exciting it was to get out of the care home and see Elvis live on screen. “That was amazing! When can we go again?” they exclaimed, amazed at the size of the cinema screen.

Tia Downer, Wellbeing Coordinator at Coppice Court, said:
"It was wonderful to see Ronnie and Barry so happy and engaged. Trips like this are so important for our residents, giving them the chance to enjoy shared interests and make special memories outside of the home."
