Coventry care home Colleague celebrates 20 years of serviceA Colleague has received an award for her long service at HC-One’s Victoria Mews in Coventry.

Michelle Higham has worked at the home for 20 years, supporting and helping many Residents along the way.

Michelle said: “Thank you for my award.

“It is a pleasure each day to come into work and play a part in our Residents’ day-to-day wellbeing and happiness.”

Despite working in several different roles at Victoria Mews, she is currently a Wellbeing Coordinator, working closely with specialist care teams to make sure Residents are making the most of their time in the home.

In her role she plans activities that help Residents to learn new hobbies, keep up their skills and to have opportunities to engage with the local community in Coventry.

Her devotion to the home has been recognised by Residents and Colleagues alike and they enjoy spending time with her.

Victoria Mews Home Manager, Stephanie Swierzbinski, said: “Thank you, Michelle, for your continued hard work and the dedication you put into your tasks and our Residents here at Victoria Mews.”
