During this years St George Day celebration, Residents at HC-One’s
Victoria Manor care home in Coventry enjoyed a day of good, classic British food.
In the morning, Residents enjoyed a classic English breakfast, tailored to their own needs and food dietary options, which everyone loved. Later in the day, after taking part in St George’s Day crafts and activities in the home, the homes kitchen team made some lovely Fish and Chips for Residents to enjoy.
The Fish and Chips brought back many memories for Residents who reminisced about time at the beach with their family or on holiday, some even spoke about some lovely days out in the pub having a pint with their fish, chips and mushy peas.
Victoria Manor care Home Manager Tina Booton said: “It is lovely seeing people enjoying themselves and hearing the stories they have to tell you as when they were children.”
Situated in the attractive residential area of Whitley, just outside Coventry, Victoria Manor is a friendly, purpose-built home with 30 beds, which offers residential and residential memory care, for those living with dementia.
