Crafting sessions at Sheraton Court care homeResidents at HC-One’s Sheraton Court, residential and residential dementia care home, in Hartlepool, have been getting crafty.

Maureen, Margaret, George, Betty, Olwen, Connie, and Lou are keen artist and have recently been joining the art club sessions.

The seven Residents painted at least one canvas each and once dry they all came together to make one large piece of art.

Everyone complemented each other on how good they were doing and how they were looking forward to seeing the outcome as no one could picture how it would look.

There were lots of hot drinks and food halfway through the session.

One Resident was so pleased with the outcome, they said, “Isn’t it wonderful, I couldn’t imagine what it would look like!”

Carole Thomson, Care Home Manager, remarked, “It is great to see the Residents getting creative, they love the art club.”
