At Hinckley residential and nursing care home,
Hinckley Park, one Resident has been showing her creative flare by making some fantastic innovations.
Before she came to Hinckley Park, Alison (pictured) was incredibly creative; she ran a mother and toddler group and spent her days baking cakes or coming up with things for them to do.
Now Alison is turning her hand to spreading her creativity around Hinckley Park! She has been creating flowers made from paper medication pots, painted and then wired up so that they can go in vases.
They flowers are slowly spreading around the home, starting with the dining rooms.
“This keeps me busy and active. I love seeing where these creations end up!” Alison had commented.
Karen Holmes, Care Home Manager, remarked, “We're looking forward to seeing what other everyday items Alison turns into something incredible!”
