One of the Residents at
Hollymere House residential and nursing care home, in Haslington has been celebrating her fifth personal birthday card from the Queen!
Mrs Elsie Clark, pictured, turned 104 today. She celebrated with family and friends and enjoyed a party with fellow Residents, which consisted of Bucks Fizz.
The celebrations were topped off with a lovely trip out with her family for afternoon tea, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Fellow Residents agreed that Elsie is an amazing lady and what a milestone to reach 104.
When asked about the secret to living to 104, Elsie remarked, “Hard work never killed anybody!”
Alison Brown, Care Home Manager, commented, “What a wonderful way to celebrate her birthday! Elsie had a fantastic day.”
