Residents and colleagues at Meadowlands Care Home in Aberdare, enjoyed a special visit recently as Vikki Howells, MS for Cynon Valley and Minister for Further and Higher Education, spent time with the home’s close-knit community.
During her visit, Vikki Howells toured Meadowlands’ welcoming facilities, including its hair salon, comfortable lounges, quiet room, bedrooms, and the beautifully maintained gardens. She met with residents and colleagues to learn more about the variety of care and enriching activities on offer at the 47-bed home, which provides high-quality nursing dementia care.
The visit offered an uplifting experience for everyone involved, highlighting the strong sense of friendship, warmth, and community that defines life at Meadowlands.
