A year ago today, Woodford House care home, in Kent, opened it's doors to welcome Residents for the first time.
The home had a refurbishment after being handed back to HC-One after being held by the NHS for almost eight years.
It has been a whirlwind of a year with the pandemic, unfortunately throwing a spanner in the works. But Colleagues and Residents decided to celebrate the milestone achievement and had a socially distanced party where they enjoyed party food and music.
Resident Pat commented that she hasn't smiled so much in a long time and that she was really smiling today!
Home Manager, Rebecca Collins, remarked, “It's been a hard year with the pandemic but my team have worked hard during this trying time. It was lovely to have such a nice afternoon!”
