Derbyshire care home Residents enjoy a spot of afternoon tea

Residents enjoyed tasting different teas this afternoon at HC-One’s Bankwood care home in Duffield, Belper.

On offer was a trolley full of herbal teas, earl grey and the classic Yorkshire tea, as well as fruit teas for the more adventurous.

Lemon and ginger became a new favourite among many Residents and the tea was the perfect companion to Kitchen Assistant Sandra’s bite size scones.

One Resident commented: “Lovely trolley. I love the scones.”

Residents spent the afternoon catching up with each other while sipping on their new favourite teas.

Bankwood Home Manager, Izeta Hamza, said: “The Colleagues have done an amazing job, it looks lovely.

“We’ll have to do it again soon.”
