Today at
Beauvale in Nottinghamshire, which offers residential, nursing and memory care, a diva disco day has taken place.
Taking a step back in time, Residents and Colleagues in at the care home all dressed in disco outfits and partied like it was 1970 again. The home was decorated with party designs and the lounge was rearranged to make room for a little dance floor.
Later on in the day, a buffet was laid out for everybody to enjoy, speaking afterwards one Resident said, “What a lovely day, some of the music was fantastic, the staff really made the day enjoyable”.
Annette the Home Manager praised the staff saying it was an “Excellent idea” and further spoke about how nice it was to see all the Residents enjoying themselves.
