As part of the Harvest Festival this year, The
Beeches care home, on Tameside, collected food hampers for their local homeless charity.
Sandwich Angels, provide food for the homeless and food parcels for struggling families in the local area and The Beeches care home decided that they would ant to help for this fantastic charity.
Wellbeing Coordinator Sade Smith, lead a group of Residents including Bernice and Audrey (pictured), and went shopping for food as part of the collection. Kind Relatives at the 32-bed residential care home helped out too.
Sade commented, “Even though times are difficult for everyone at the minute, we all still came together to get a really good collection for a worthy charity.”
“This year for Harvest, it was nice to see how many people are still donating in these hard times to help.”
