The Beeches care home in Tameside, Greater Manchester, are celebrating success after Residents and Relatives voted them as one of the Top 20 recommended care homes in the North West in the carehome.co.uk awards 2022. This marks The Beeches’ second year in the prestigious top 20 group.
Carehome.co.uk, the UK's leading care home directory and comparison website, holds its annual Care Home Awards to recognise the 20 top-rated care homes in each region of the UK. These are based on individual review scores that carehome.co.uk have received from Residents, and their friends, family and loved ones, demonstrating real life opinions and first-hand experiences from those most closely connected to the home.
The Beeches received an overall rating of 10/10 based on independent reviews, in recognition of the high standards of care provided at the home – which provides residential services for the local community. The 32-bed home received a CQC ‘Good’ report in March 2021 in all categories, demonstrating that the home is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
The friendly home, which is located in a popular residential area, is one of 221 HC-One care homes across the UK that will benefit from a £54.5m investment refurbishment programme, and forms part of HC-One’s mission to be the UK’s first choice care provider in the communities it serves.
HC-One is committed to providing the highest standards of care in every community they serve, which is demonstrated by their 9.5/10 average rating on the carehome.co.uk website – which is among the highest review scores across the care home sector.

“My stay has been really good. I have felt safe and happy all of the staff have been really good and helpful and understanding of my health. I would stay here if I could.”

In total, 24 HC-One homes received awards for being among the Top 20 care homes in their respective regions with three receiving awards for being in the Top 20 Care Homes in the North West of England.
