The Nurses at HC-One’s
Coppice Court care home in Eastbourne have been celebrated this International Nurses Day with Colleagues and Residents at the home playing a key part in the celebrations.
On 12th May, the wellbeing team and catering department joined forces to show gratitude to all the Nursing Staff working tirelessly to ensure health and safety of all the Residents at Coppice Court.
When asked about their experiences with the homes Nurses, one Resident said: “I feel kindness every time a Nurse comes into my room.”
Residents and the rest of the staff team gathered to share a cake and to show our gratitude. The Residents thanked the Nurses and expressed their own thoughts and feelings about their work and dedication.
There was a rather large thank you card with dozens of signed wishes as well as a specially made cake which everyone in the home signed.
Nurses are the unsung heroes of our time and throughout history. Everyone at Coppice Court are very grateful for the Nurses in their home and for their vocation and dedication.
Located just outside the popular seaside resort of Eastbourne, Coppice Court is a friendly care home with 54 beds, offering nursing and nursing memory care for those living with dementia.
