Easter fun at Guisborough care homeResidents at HC-One’s, Park House, residential and residential dementia care home, in Guisborough, had lots of fun this Easter.

To start off the Easter fun, Residents had a great time doing some arts and crafts. The Residents made cards to sent to their loved ones and Easter bonnets to wear over the Easter weekend.

On Good Friday, the Residents listened to some Easter music and took part in an Easter Quiz. On Easter Saturday, Park House held a coffee morning, for friends and family to attend.

Easter Monday, started with a traditional Easter Service lead by Reverend Marion with hymns chosen by the Residents, The Old Rugged Cross and Lord of the Dance. The service was very well received by all the Residents. In the afternoon, the Easter Bunny, made a visit to hand out Easter Eggs and chocolate treats to the Residents and staff members.

The Residents had lots of fun over the Easter weekend and enjoyed wearing their Easter bonnets and rabbit ears.

Julie Woods, Care Home Manager, commented, “It was a really great weekend, and it was great for Residents to get involved. There was something for everyone.”
