Eccles care home Resident enjoys Reminiscent day out

Peter, a Resident at Barton Brook care home in Eccles, Salford, enjoyed a reminiscent trip out around the town centre that he grew up in. 

Born in Eccles, Peter often enjoys revisiting buildings in the town that he visited regularly as a child. 

Peter was accompanied by Barton Brook staff as he had a walk around the scenic, old roads in Eccles followed by the popular market, discussing his favourite places to eat and drink in the town. He even enjoyed a pint in one of the pubs he used to visit. 

Lynn Kaye, Home Manager at Barton Brook, said: “It was lovely to see Peter with a big smile on his face as he revisited many places in Eccles that he loved to go to in the past.”
