Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Daneside Mews care home were in a musical mood as they welcomed an Elvis tribute act to the home.
One Resident, Beryl, is the self-proclaimed biggest fan of Elvis, and has recently found it difficult to engage and socialise with others, however, as soon as Elvis stepped through the door of the home, Colleagues were amazed to see her up and dancing.
Residents each enjoyed getting up to dance as Elvis sang their favourite tunes, with them each choosing to sing along to their most favourite ones.
Afterwards, everyone enjoyed snacks and drinks together whilst still joining in singing along to the music that Elvis provided.
Nicola Blackwood, home manager, commented: “A fantastic afternoon was had by all, it’s always wonderful to see so many smiling and happy faces.”
