Orchard Mews, residential, nursing and dementia care home, in Benwell, Newcastle have celebrate National Employee Appreciation Day.
To celebrate National Employee Appreciation Day, Home Manager, Nikki, bought lots of goodies for all the Colleagues to enjoy, cookies, chocolate, crisps and snacks.
Every Colleague received a ‘kindness matters’ card, with a handwritten message from Nikki, thanking them for everything that they do.
Visiting professionals were also offered the opportunity to take a treat from the trolley.
All of the Colleagues were thrilled with the little treat from Nikki, and there were many comments, like, “what a lovely gesture,” and “that is so kind, it is so lovely to be a part of this family.”
Nikki Mould, Care Home Manager, remarked, “It’s just a little thing to do but it brought a big smile to everyone’s faces and we made sure there were enough for the whole team to enjoy.”
