
Fairway View Care Home in Bulwell, Nottingham, celebrated Valentine’s Day by opening its doors to the local community for a heart-warming event filled with sweet treats, refreshments and companionship.
The care home welcomed neighbours, visitors and residents to its cinema room to enjoy delicious Valentine’s-themed cupcakes and refreshments, creating a relaxed and friendly space for everyone to come together and celebrate the occasion.
Residents also marked Valentine’s Day itself with a range of special sweet treats, ensuring the day was filled with smiles and moments of joy.
Heidi Duffy, Lifestyle Manager at Fairway View Care Home, said:
“Valentine’s Day is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate love, friendship and connection. It was lovely to welcome members of our local community into the home and see residents and visitors enjoying time together over cake and conversation.”
