Residents at HC-One’s Kinnaird Manor care home in Falkirk recently enjoyed an active games afternoon, giving Residents an opportunity to compete against each other.
Colleagues set up a game of ring toss up for Residents and themselves to enjoy. Most staff and Residents in the Antonine unit took part, there was some debate about how far everyone should be standing before throwing the rings so we decided three paces was a fair distance for everyone.
Kinnaird Resident Helen Neilson said: “I seem to play better sitting down than standing up.”
Residents and Colleagues took turns and cheering each other on and everyone got really into it and got really competitive.
Even Kinnaird’s Home Manager, Donna Stewart wanted in on the fun, “I need in on this game, it looks like great fun,” she said.
