Ferndale Mews Residents have a boogie to live musicAt Ferndale Mews residential memory care and nursing memory care home, in Widnes, everyone enjoyed a lovely afternoon in the garden dancing and singing.

Everyone enjoyed the wonderful ‘Music and Minds’ duo who are local performers. There was plenty of reminiscing about dancing around a dance hall in Residents’ younger days.

People were either tapping their feet, clapping their hands, singing along or having a really good boogie along to the songs.

Although the weather wasn't at its best, no one didn't let it ruin the fun, as all wrapped up warm with fluffy blankets and enjoyed a nice hot cup of tea.

The Residents, including Doris, Marjorie, Michael, Barbara, Mary, Antony, William and Susan, said they really enjoyed watching and getting involved with the entertainment.

Susan said, “They're just amazing! I loved every single minute of that!”

Barbara added, “A good old boogie is just what I needed.”

Marjorie remarked, “I had the best time listening to all the lovely songs.”

Care Assistant Bernie, commented, “These are really good, its lovely seeing the Residents enjoying themselves!”
