Festive donations for Tameside care home

Residents at HC-One’s The Beeches care home in Dukinfield, Tameside, were delighted to receive some thoughtful donations from their local Scouts and Beavers groups.

The Dukinfield Scots and Beavers have maintained strong relationships with the Residents at The Beeches during the global COVID-19 pandemic, so it was very special when Residents received some festive donations from the children which included handmade cards, shawls and a DVD of the children singing Christmas carols.

Ivy, a Resident at The Beeches commented: “These cards are so beautiful, it’s thoughtful of them to think of us.”

The Beeches Home Manager, Louise Clifford said: “We really appreciate the generous gifts and efforts of the lovely children from Scouts and Beavers, we all look forward to welcoming them back to The Beeches when it is safe to do so.”
