Foxtons festivitiesResidents at HC-One’s Foxton Court, residential and residential memory care home, in Morpeth, are getting well and truly in the Christmas spirit.

Residents and staff gathered in the lounge areas to prepare for an afternoon of decorating the home.

Residents enjoyed a lovely treat of sweet treats, nibbles and mince pies as well as a choice of wines, prosecco, warm mulled wine, sherry or soft drinks.

The Residents started to watch the staff put up the Christmas tree, and then took turns in sorting through all the baubles and decorations.

Christmas music was played throughout the home, and each Resident took turns to decorate the tree.

David, a Resident, said, “What a great afternoon getting together and having lunch and decorating the home. It brightened everyone’s afternoon”

The Christmas spirit continued into the afternoon where Resident were laughing and having a chat with each other.

Care Home Manager, Joanne Bulford, commented, “The smile on our Residents faces says it all. Brilliant afternoon!”

Foxton Court would like to say, “We wish everyone a magical Christmas and a happy new year.”
